How to use this resource?
Prerequisites
Airtable, with permission to edit the schema, interfaces and automations, plus AI access and available credits.
An assistant connected to Airtable MCP: connection guide.
A test base with synthetic discovery notes; a simple services catalogue is optional.
1
Prepare your base
Extract the ZIP you receive and open the PDF guide. Attach or paste all of prompt-installation.txt into your assistant connected to Airtable.
Choose an existing or new base, identify an optional catalogue and review the proposed mapping. In a new base, you can add the synthetic demo.
Reuse compatible structures and preserve your history.
2
Connect the button
The assistant prepares the model, interface and draft automations. Follow the guide to connect Generate draft contract, check editing permissions and currency formats, and review the test interface.
Test the steps in Airtable. After review, publish the interface and activate B, then A with a catalogue, or A alone without one.
The button starts preparation when you request it from an opportunity detail.
3
Review the draft contract
Open an opportunity with discovery notes and click the button once. Open the linked contract and wait for Line items ready - review required before editing its lines.
Check scope, services, quantities, prices and open questions. A budget is not a selling price. Also check that clicking again creates no new contract.
The result stays a draft for review; no commercial document is generated.
