Prerequisites
Airtable, with AI enabled, available credits and permission to create fields, automations and interfaces.
ChatGPT or Claude connected to Airtable MCP. Follow our connection guide if needed.

Install with your assistant
Extract the ZIP received by email. Paste the entire installation-prompt.txt into ChatGPT or Claude connected to Airtable.
Choose an existing base or a new base, then review the proposed plan. Your assistant reuses your project / service structure and prepares the detail pages and draft automation.
Start in a test base. The fictional project is offered only for a new base.

Prepare the upload in the interface
In interface edit mode, open the project detail page. In the linked Supplier quotes table, enable Add records through a form and keep only PDF, required.
Allow users to open quote details. Review and enable the automation, then publish the test interface. The PDF guide explains these settings.
Adding a quote from this table automatically links it to the open project.

Upload a quote and review the result
In the Supplier quotes table on the project page, click Add a record. Upload studio-lumiere-quote.pdf and submit: extraction starts automatically.
Open the new quote, compare its details and lines with the PDF, then edit any incorrect value directly. With the sample quote: Studio Lumière, three lines and €1,800 excluding VAT.
Check the quote's link to the correct project. Editing a value manually must not create new lines.
