Installation tutorial

How to use this resource?

Prerequisites

  • Claude with custom plugins, or ChatGPT desktop with local Work / Codex. Options depend on your account.

  • To work inside a base: an Airtable account and connection. Follow the MCP connection guide.

1

Install the complete pack

Extract the download received by email.

Claude: open Customize > Plugins, import hyperops-airtable-skills.zip and enable the plugin.

ChatGPT with local Work / Codex: also extract the plugin ZIP into a permanent folder. Give the assistant its path and send:

Install the HyperOps Airtable Skills plugin from [absolute path to the extracted folder] through its local marketplace. Preserve existing configuration and verify that all five Skills are available.

Start a new conversation. If importing is unavailable, check the Claude or OpenAI instructions.

One import for all five Skills. Attaching the ZIP to a chat does not install it.

2

Check the Skills and connection

Find Base Builder, Interface Builder, Automation Builder, Auditor and Change Reviewer in the Skill picker.

To work inside a base, use your Airtable connection or the MCP guide. Specify the base, your requirements and the actions you authorize.

Without an Airtable connection, work from a brief or schema.

3

Choose your prompt

Select the relevant Skill and replace the bracketed values.

Base Builder

Use Airtable Base Builder in [base]. My requirements are [brief and business rules]. Build or improve the model, reuse appropriate existing structures and check authorized changes.

Interface Builder

Use Airtable Interface Builder in [base]. Users with [roles] need to [actions]. Build useful pages and forms, check access for each role and leave interfaces unpublished.

Automation Builder

Use Airtable Automation Builder in [base]. When [event] occurs, I want [result]. Prepare the automation, execution tracking and error recovery. Leave it disabled and explain how to test it.

Auditor

Use Airtable Auditor to audit [base] for [scope]. Support findings with evidence and suggest the simplest priority improvements. Read-only.

Change Reviewer

Use Airtable Change Reviewer to review [before/after change] in [base]. Check impact, tests and recovery. Do not apply the change.

A complete solution

Use Airtable Base Builder, Interface Builder and Automation Builder to build [solution] in [base] for [brief]. Reuse appropriate existing structures and continue authorized actions. Keep interfaces unpublished and automations disabled. State what is built, tested and remaining.

Choose for your task: the five prompts are independent.

4

Check the result

Check completed work inside Airtable. Test a few useful situations: a complete record, missing information or a repeated action.

Validate interfaces and automations before publishing or enabling them.

Ask the assistant to distinguish built, tested and remaining work.
